Letterpress Confetti Wedding Invitations

These confetti wedding invitations are a fun but elegant way to announce your upcoming wedding! This letterpress print in navy and green is accented by an apple green envelope liner for a great additional pop of color. A traditional script and text font keep this modern invitation looking formal. For this wedding at Meridian House in Washington, DC it was a great way to let everyone know it was going to be fun, but be sure to dress up! The 2 color letterpress print on 110lb cotton paper was paired with a 1 color reply card and invitation card in navy ink.

Linden Leaves Invitations

For this confetti design we used the delicate heart shape of the linden leaf, so if you look closely the confetti is really a splash of tiny hearts! A great subtle way to bring in a heart theme to your invitations without going overboard, especially with great colors of navy and green for a fall wedding.

Washington DC Save the Dates

These Washington DC letterpress save the dates feature vintage images of DC monuments and landmarks, setting the stage for your retro DC wedding! Letterpressed images of the Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial and Washington Monument are a classic skyline to get everyone in the Washington DC mood. The save the date can be done in traditional colors of gold and black, or any color that fits your style. Classic and more modern fonts both work well with the monument layout.

Vintage Monuments in Letterpress

Antique Library of Congress images of Washington DC sites were converted to a letterpress format, an appropriately antique print style to match the design. No matter what time of year you will be holding your wedding, these images of our nation’s capital are great scene-setters for your DC wedding. These letterpress save the dates were printed in 1 color on 110lb cotton paper, a thick but not too thick introduction to your wedding! Lace Wedding Invitations

These floral lace letterpress wedding invitations have a perfectly delicate and feminine look, making your first announcement of the wedding to your guests a beautiful statement! The main lace design was “blind” printed in letterpress on the main invitation, and then carried through in purple to the rest of the set. The invitation was highlighted by purple edge painting, and an overall purple and gray theme. The lace design on the invitations was carried through to the thank you notes and later to the wedding day programs and other items, in a gray and purple theme for the fabulous wedding on Martha’s Vineyard.

Letterpress Lace

Using letterpress printing was the perfect way to achieve the look of white lace, as though it were embedded in the paper. To achieve this look the paper is run through with the printing plates with no ink on them, leaving only the deep impression on the paper. The flower design in the lace pops up, as well as the lattice lace background, with deep purple text below. For your own custom lace wedding invitations contact us in our Washington, DC studio!
